Description
Floating turbidity barriers are ideal for controlling silt, floating vegetation, and other debris in ditches, streams, canals, marshes, ponds, and lakes. Floating turbidity barriers are comprised of a top floatation boom, impermeable curtain of fabric that extends downward into the water, and a heavy galvanized steel chain sealed into a hem along the entire bottom of the curtain. This chain provides ballast, which keeps the curtain vertical in the water. End hems are sealed around a rope and grommeted for easy attachment to each other with rope or bolts, nuts, and washers.
