Placement & Use Guidelines

• Surface Prep: Remove all debris, oil, and contaminants. Ensure a saturated surface dry (SSD) substrate.
• Mixing: Always add water first, then grout. Mix 2–3 minutes until uniform; avoid overmixing or excessive water.
• Placement: Place from one side to prevent air entrapment. Maintain 1” minimum clearance under base plates.
• Curing: Begin water curing immediately or cover with wet rags; after set, apply an ASTM C-309 curing compound.
• Temperature Considerations: Follow ACI 305 for hot weather and ACI 306 for cold weather concrete placement.
